Get Pinned - Get Found and Share Some Farm Photos

Farm-Direct, -Crafts, -Events? Get Pinned!

A pin is a drop down marker for a location on a map. Mi Farm Network has three interactive Michigan maps with pins on them. These maps show where Farm Direct Purchases, Farm Made Crafts, Farm Events and Harvests are available. Each map pin will also hold basic profile information for its farm, crafter, event or harvest.

Requirements

Farmers and homesteaders, big or small, that participate need to provide product(s) that are direct from THEIR farm or a farm service they provide. We ask craft materials are also from the crafters farm or skills to make the craft are traditional to farm life skills.

Profile Forms for Pin Information

Please download and fill out the Mi Farm Profile Form link found below. Once completed, send back to us via USPS or email. Both addresses can be found at the top of the Profile Form or on the website's Contact page. If you cannot open the form or have questions, please call or email us. We will make sure to get you a form and/or answer any questions.

We encourage you to share Mi Farm Network information with other farmers and community members.

As we continue to fill the maps with Farm information, we will be alerting the mass media and farm based retailers throughout Michigan with quarterly updates.

To update your Pin, contact us via phone or send information via mail/email. Phone number and addresses can be found on the Contact page. Please call if you have any questions.

Sharing Your Farm News

Feel free to post farm information as desired on the corresponding FB groups.

If you have a Farmers Market and want to be listed on Michigan Farmers Market Association - MIFMA, contact them directly.

To share events - harvest, teaching or otherwise, or photos on this website, email your information and/or corresponding photos to us here at Mi Farm Network. Addresses can be found on the Contact page. Please call if you have any questions.

Photo Galleries

Throughout the website you will see photo galleries. We ask to please share favorite photos of your farm, crafts, markets and events with us so we may include them in one of the galleries.

We know it's hard, but try to limit photos sent to only five per month so we can get everyone's photos included. Remember, some photos may not match website imaging requirements which will exclude them from being used.

Depending on what information is provided, we can include your farm or family's name and the town name where your farm is located.

Email address to send photos can be found on the Contact page. Please call if you have any questions.

Mi Mission

In conjunction with our "Shop Michigan Farms" FB group, Mi Farm Network strives to bring Michigan farms together with their communities for the greater good, education and ability for farm direct product purchases.

Our intention is to provide longer lasting opportunities for farms and their communities to connect, and to build a strong networking platform to support those connections.

To help Mi Farm Network grow and be part of this exciting community, there are a few "call to action" things you can do:

  • As a farm with goods or service to offer the community, fill out the Mi Farm Profile questionnaire and send back to us so we can pin your farm information and location on a corresponding map pin (questionnaire link toward the bottom of the page). This way people can easily and quickly find your farm, along with your farm's general information for direct purchase, service and/or event participation.
  • As a community member, join and participate in the FB groups . If you have other favorite FB groups that are farm related please let us know about them.
  • Also as a community member, if you are willing to help as a "Mi Farm Boots on the Ground Volunteer" in your region, helping to move donated food or provide helping hands to the farms when needed, please provide us with your contact information.
  • Also, we ask everyone to subscribe to receive updated news on what's happening down on MI Farms!

If you have any questions, concerns or advice do not hesitate to call or send us a message.
